The Storefront Records Marketplace, started in 2020 as a response to support small businesses during the pandemic, was started by Fantastic Negrito, featuring a multitude of community vendors, food trucks, and a performance stage to highlight upcoming talents in art and music. It was a truly celebratory day with neighbors dressed in various Halloween costumes, sharing laughter, good food, and music. The HEAR/HERE truck provided moments of reflection and empowerment to the community with the question:
What can we do to end the homelessness crisis in the Bay Area?
How can we end gun violence on our streets?
