COMMONS ARCHIVE IS A PERMANENT NEIGHBORHOOD MEMORY BANK AT OAKLAND'S GOLDEN GATE LIBRARY firstname.lastname@example.org
YOUR VOICES, YOUR STORIES
We all carry experiences of our neighborhoods, the stories that make this place home. As North Oakland continues to grow and change, Commons Archive is gathering neighbors' memories to preserve the area’s many histories. In February we distributed story collection boxes throughout the neighborhood. They’ll be accessible when services re-open. In the meantime, visit our Instagram -- we’re spotlighting recently gathered neighbor stories. And when you see a neighbor on your next walk, share some memories!
Visit Oakland Public Library for 24/7 online services for Oakland history, reading lists, story-time links, ebooks & more!
